I live in a little sleepy village called Lanjaron. San Juan night here is a massive water fight which starts at midnight on the 24th of June. There is fire men with hoses and everybody has their water buckets and water hoses which they chuck at you from balconies. It's a bit like the bull run but without the bulls!
This same festival is celebrated all over Puerto Rico, as many of the traditions we have from Spain, hundred of thouusand of people flock to the beach that evening.
