-
Step 1:
-
Create perfect angelic curls.
-
Michelle's hair type will allow her to keep the length because we want to keep it as long as possible so the weight will bring it down. We're going to create perfect angelic curls and enhance her color. Her natural color is perfect and we have no need to change it.
As a creative hairdresser I'm fascinated with curly hair because it has its own, almost, mind, you know where it does what its going to do and when you fight it you're going to lose.
-
Step 2:
-
Get the right PH.
-
For Michelle's hair the PH balance of our treatment shampoo should be a PH of 4.5 to 5, keeping it very very gentle. Gentle enough for everyday washing if she would like it.
In order to avoid all those ledges that come from regular layers we are going to do something called curly layers where we keep it as uneven as possible so you never get that dreaded ledge.
-
Step 3:
-
Keep an eye on moisture.
-
Her hair is very vulnerable to weather conditions. Summertime is the best season for her because the humidity gives her curl more bounce. It deepens the formation of her curls. In the wintertime the indoor heating sucks out the moisture and she has to put far more effort into creating a perfect curl.
-
Step 4:
-
Try it yourself.
-
OK Michelle with the treatment shampoo and proper PH and the detangler your stain will last a long period of time without growing out and leaving a demarcation line. It looks terrific on you.
It looks great, thank you so much, and it feels so healthy. You're welcome, thank you.
