Tech Suggestions For Students
Made by VideoJug user VideoMathTutor, this film gives math students some great tips on high tech study. From laptop advice, to math computer software, this film is filled with tips to help improve you math studies.
Step 1: Get more Hi-Tech
All right, we went over a number of things to help you with your grades. Now lets step it up a level. Another way that you can help yourself is just getting things that are more high tech.
Step 2: Get yourself a laptop:
Of course the number one suggestion is get yourself a laptop. OK, nothing fancy, this is actually an older laptop. You can get some old, pretty good quality laptops, off E Bay for example. If you have the money your bookstore should sell a number of these things. And believe me this will dramatically improve your grade.
Step 3: Get better organized:
How, well you’ll be better organized. Homework, email, you can email me, that’s a suggestion, if you have a question. Its just an overall great tool. Another thing that laptops are good for is that certain software, mathematic software, which will help you out.
Step 4: Look up the websites:
One of the best places that you can get incredibly wonderful software, graphic software is at this website below here. Go right there and you can download a demo if you have a McIntosh and they’ll have a sample program for window users. And if you like it please buy this thing. I have one of these things on my computer and I love it. And you’ll actually see me use these graphing programs on my video because we can actually save movies of graphs, its kind of neat.
Step 5: Flash drives are great:
If you don’t have a CD rewritable drive get yourself one of these, little rinky-dink little flash drive. This looks like the form of a key chain but they come in many different variations, watches, earrings I think even have them, necklaces. But all you need to do is plug this into your USB drive in your computer and its like having a mini hard drive. I love these things. And they come in different sizes and MB capabilities and you can actually download files, just different things, keep your email on here. So I would recommend you get one of these, again, always keep one with you just in case you need it.
Step 6: Done.
I talked about this earlier, to make sure, if you have a laptop and a calculator make sure you have a connection to put the laptop, or your regular desktop computer and connect it to a calculator. So make sure you have that. And I'm done.
