I'm going to show you a little hidden trick in windows media player. In this case it's media player 10. I've selected a track off of a production music library, and I'm going to go ahead and play that track.

Step 2: The Explanation

Now if you go to the top menu where it says play, and you select the drop down that says play speed and select fast, it actually keeps the pitch of the song. Or, if you select the play speed slow, it'll slow the track down and still maintain the pitch.

Step 3: The Uses

Now this will work with mp3's, some other music files, and also some video files, so try it on your own!
