How to make the Tower Vase Centerpiece from start to finish.

Step 1: The tower vase centrepiece:

This project is the tower vase centrepiece. And in your kit you're going to be getting a 21-inch or a 30-inch plastic tube and you're going to be getting this flange that will be on the bottom. And on the bottom you'll notice this white stuff, this is florist adhesive called Cling, and this will be on your sample piece. And all you have to do to get started is to put this on the bottom like that and then you just push it into your Dollar Store ashtray that you pick up at the Dollar Store. And this Cling is going to hold it in place nice and secure until your acrylic water dries.

Step 2: The acrylic water kit:

You're going to be using your Acrylic Water Kit as a glue. Now if you open up your Acrylic Water Kit your going to find that there are two bottles inside. One is the epoxy resin and the other one is the curing agent. We're going to start with the curing agent and I'm going to put two teaspoons inside there, two full teaspoons and then we're going to use our resin second. We're going to put one teaspoon and then for the second teaspoon we're not going to put a whole teaspoon in. We're going to have more curing agent than resin because we want it to set up. And, again we're going to stir it for one full minute, you'll want to set a timer even to make sure that we get it right. We don't want it to be soft; we want to make sure that it sets up really good. And then we just pour it in like so.

Step 3: Add glass gems:

Now what we're going to do is take our glass gems, these we picked up over at the Dollar Store as well. We're going to just pour those right inside the dish. Now we're going to let that set for two full days to make sure that it's very very solid in there. And it's going to be nice and secure, you're going to have a lot of weight down here at the bottom with the glass and that will give us a lot of strength.

Step 4: Bend the orchids:

Now we have our tower vase completed we're going to start on the floral arrangement, so we put that aside. And we're going to take our orchids and the first step is to bend them. So we're going to take the first one and bend it into the two o'clock position and we're going to do this twice. Right under the last floret simply bend it in the two o'clock position so that the flowers are facing up. Take two more and bend them into a three o'clock position, or a 90-degree angle, so they're bent at 90 degrees. Then we're going to take the remaining stems and place them back-to-back and tie them with floral tape. Just take a piece of floral tape and wrap it around, right under the bottom floret, a couple times.

Step 5: Adding bent stems:

Now we're going to add our bent stems, so the first stem we'll take is the one bent in the two o'clock position and put it on one side, then we'll tape that up a couple of times. Then we'll take our other stem bent in the two o'clock position and put it on the other side, making sure that the flowers face outward. You have to tape around that a couple more times. Then we're going to take our last two Dendrobium orchid stems and simply tape those around as well, one on each side.

Step 6: Place tiger orchids:

OK, now that we've got all of our orchids together here, you can kind of adjust them as you go along. Our last step is to take our Tiger orchids and place them in the middle between the top and the two o'clock position. OK, that's going to act as filler. It's a very simple arrangement to make, and you can arrange them when you get finished as well. Take our other one and put it on the other side.

Step 7: Floral wire:

And to make it more secure I'm going to take a piece of wire, you can use a twist tie or some floral wire and just tie it around, it doesn't matter because we're going to cover it with the floral tape so you won't be able to
