If the guy is single or not a player, then just ask him. I love it when girls asks me out, it is really flattering. Believe it or not, us guys won't always ask out the girl we like. The usual reason we don't ask out the girl we really like is because of the constant fear of rejection. In my case I have been in love with this one girl for more then three years now and I am still speachless when I am around her. I've gpne out with plenty of girls and asked out just as many as I've gone out with, but that girl is the only one that can make me speechless. Maybe your guy is just really afraid to ask you out or he thinks your too good for him. I know you might now think that is the reason why, but any man that truly loves and respects a women always comes to the realization that his girl will always be too good for him. So ask him and see what happens, if you know that he isn't a jerk then even if you do get rejected he won't make a big deal about doing so. Good Luck!

http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-ask-a-man-on-a-date Step 1: The key The key to getting a man to say yes to a date if to make yourself interesting and fun to be with. Take the pressure off by forgetting about the whole 'dating' aspect, you just want to spend a little time with him to see if something develops. You are not suggesting going shopping for matching rings. Think positively, be confident, and let your natural charm and personality shine through. Step 2: Prepare Ditch the line "Will you go out with me?" from your vocabulary. It sounds desperate and high school. Get used to saying something far less pressured such as 'Maybe we could go for a drink sometime?' This is casual and mature, not an ultimatum. Take time to ensure you are looking your best. If you look good, you'll also feel good and project confidence. Step 3: Find the right time Wherever possible ask the object of your affections out in person. This lets him to see what a great person you are and also allows you to read his signals. If orchestrating a face to face meeting proves difficult, then pick up the phone. This is a good second option but doesn't let the conversation flow as naturally. Avoid asking someone out by text or email. This is impersonal and doesn't allow you to see his reaction. Step 4: Get the conversation going Approach your fella with an smile and cheery greeting. If you have only met a couple of times before remind him of your name and your last meeting. Use this as the launch point for a conversation, naturally moving on to other topics and interests. Remember that nothing is so flattering as someone wanting to know all about you, so ask lots of questions and remember to listen to the answers. Be amusing without going over the top, Step 5: Body language Eye contact is crucial, it's shows you are interested and lets you gauge his reaction. If he returns your gaze, you are on to a winner, but is he avoids it, he's not that keen. Keep you body language open and don't be afraid to touch his arm to emphasis a point. Step 6: Drop in the line Once the conversation is flowing drop in the line….."Do you think we could meet for a drink sometime?" Step 7: If he says Yes Nice work. Follow up his acceptance with a suggested location and time. Seal the deal by exchanging numbers. Step 8: If he say No No harm done, carry on the conversation. Don't take it personally or bear a grudge, it just wasn't meant to be. You never know, your confidence and attitude may make him regret his decision. Step 9: If he is non committal This is an initial rejection but he doesn't want to harm your feelings. Carry on as before, and give him your number to keep the option open. Step 10: Move on Well Done. Whether you secured a date or not you should be proud of yourself. If you were turned down, don't worry, you just aren't his type, but you probably made his day. Its always better to give it a shot than spend your life thinking 'what if...?'
