My period was 6 days late, and before it started I had very weird uterus sensations...like it was stretching/growing. I was convinced I was pregnant. Then the period started with cramps, but it was the lightest one I've ever had...no need for a tampon...So I'm wondering if Im pregnant and it was just a light bleed...a HPT showed up two negatives...so I had did a urine test at the Dr's today...

I had a similar experience. I had 2 normal periods (well, maybe ever so slightly lighter than normal, but nothing to make me think anything was up!!) before taking a test because my boobs had grown and I was really tired all the time. I was pregnant, and even had another light period the next month too! My daughter is 2 1/2. The "wee on a stick" tests respond to a hormone in your urine, but they are not particularly sensitive. The amount of the "pregnancy" hormone builds up over time, so take another test in afew days & make sure you do it first thing in the morning, when the hormone has had all night to build up in your urine.

i think you could be pregnant. its very possible but i would wait about 3 to 7 days to try again. but i also need some help. id say im about 7 or 8 weeks pregnant if i am. i have sore boobs, extreame tiredness, headachs, and a little nausea. my periods are usually regular. my period was late so i took a home pregnancy test (a cheep one) and it came out neg. my period ended up comming 7 days late but it was short and light. other websites said i can have a period and still be pregnant but im not sure. i think i had implantation bleeding about 1 week before my expected period. i took another preg test at about 6 weeks but it was also neg. i am a teen so i dont want 2 hav 2 tell my rents or go 2 the doc until i know its 4 sure. got any advice?????

you could be pregnant. Home pregnancy tests check for levels of hCG. These levels may have not risen yet. If unsure, do another test in 3 days time. If still unsure....go to your gp. They will still probably do a urine test so if your result in 3 days comes as negative.....you are probably not pregnant. any signs of morning sickness, breast tenderness etc are typical of early pregnancy so consider the whole picture. Other causes for missed period or oligomenorrhoea can be things like PCOS. Any hair on your belly, hair loss on your head, weight gain? That could be the reason. you could be, but I have a few friends who recently had the same prob. one on birth control and the other very regular. Both tried multiple test with neg. results. Both went to doctor and are not pregnant. The doctor said the weather change from winter to summer like weather has made them skip their periods. Just a thought.

With my son I took 8 preg test all were neg. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was preg though(hoped) and sure enough I went to my ob and her urine test said no so she sent me for a blood test and that also came back neg. so they took me for an ultrasound and saw my sons heart beat he is now 4 years old!!! don't trust those darn tests listen to your body!!!

My LMP was April 10th. I have taken 2 urine and 1 blood tests. All negative, but still no period. Could i still be pregnant?
