boil some potatoes, cabbage, and some sprouts. when all cooked drain the water off and let it cool. then put into the fridge. take out of fridge and mash it all togethere. with a LITTLE OIL IN A FRYING PAN put some of what you have mashed and fry until it starts to brown underneeth. turn over and do the same again. when done put some black pepperon thetop with a little dribble of worchestershire sause enjoy

make a mash potatoes(boile potatoes mix it when is soft with salt and pepers no butter....)and cut savoy gabbage fine,heat a pan with a little bit of oil and sotte a gabbage without burn it (make it cook ,soft)put a pan on a fire with veg oil for frythe in the end ,i do put carotte peas with a gabbage in my b and s,as you want !!!!!you cut a carotte in cube size,boile and when it is soft take it out ,same for the peas ,let it cool down ,mix all the ingredient in a bowl (mush ,gabbage ,carotte,peas),bring a deep plat of plain flour,make a small ball of the mix ,cover with a flour , star put a ball in deep fry and push in with a spatulla to change the apparence of ur bs , turn it when you it start to be g brown ,take it out and put on tishu to dry and savour it,sorry for my english i try my best.

Leftover potatoes and cabbage mixed and mashed,season with salt,black pepper and a litlle nutmeg then fry in any fat you like. I like duck fat but veg oil is fine. Fry until crusty, flip and brown other side. Lovely with just fried eggs.

cold boiled potatoes,sprouts and if you like peas,some mixed herbs salt pepper.Put all in a bowl and run a knife through it until the ingredients are small lumps. Use a wide based frying pan with some oil not too much else you end up with a mush. Lard is better.flatten the b&s in the pan and when the bottom of the cake starts to brown stir up and flatten.repeat till enough brown bits to suit you. B&S has many variations. Enjoy.
