The bifold door is the key. Make sure you buy one that is 3/4 inch short on the top side and 1/2 in short in the bottom. If it is not, get one that you can cut/saw off to fit. Fit the top runner(slot where the door's slide/guide fits in) in the middle of the top of the door frame, than place the pivot hardware on the center of the door frame, on the bottom, on the side you want the door to fold too. After insuring that the door fits the opening correctly, insert the hardware, that makes the door pivot and slide, onto the door. Now!! Making sure that you hold the door at an angle, insert the bottom pivot stud into the square hole at the bottom hardware on the side that you chose for the door to fold too. Bringing the door up to a vertical position, insure that the slide/guide on the top of the door fits into the hardware slide you installed in the top of the frame. At this point the TOP PIVOT HARDWARE inside of the slide MUST be engaged with the TOP pivot, whitch is directly above the bottom pivot stud. once engaged slide the TOP pivot back untill it is DIRECTLY ABOVE the bottom pivot and tighten the screw that prevents the slide from moving so that the door remains in the upright position. You are now ready to make small adjustment. You can adjust the door by controling the TOP SLIDE PIVOT. Adjust the door to open and close easly and to remain open (folded) by moving the slide foward or back. I hope the helps..... THE WARMAN
