All unwanted hair of the face can cause distress - I am sorry you have this problem. I also have this. I am an attractive blonde but blighted by fine blond facial hair - it's horrible. Unfortunately, the news is not good for us as laser removal won't work as this method relies on the pigmentation of the hair to carry the signal through the hair shaft to destroy or weaken the root. Blonde/white/red hiar does not have the pigment. Electrolysis is the only way and it is a lengthy drawn out process. A qualified technician needs to be used or this method could scar. Saving is usually out of the question but waxing or hair removal creams are a second best but are of course not permanent. Hope this helps.

You could also try using an epilator device. I bought a low tech one on ebay for about 15 bucks. Amazon sells fancier ones for about 50-80. Basically you move it around your face and it will pull out several hairs at once. For me it's not a great feeling but it's not terribly painful either, so for me this seems to be the best solution. I basically do a peach fuzz check once or twice a week and use the device as necessary. Waxing is too harsh for my skin type and hair removal creams are too irritating. Actually, there are a lot of women who secretly love shaving because it also offers exfoliating benefits, but if you forget to do it you can find yourself with look of stubble -- horrifying. Take care.
