You cannot discriminate based on childern. You better learn the laws if you are renting to someone.

I really wonder why the hell people that live under noisy neighbors have to pay for this idoits and there kids? Why does the landlord just ignore the problem? My husband and I have lived in our building for 6 years and this MF has been there less than a year he has 2 kids that are elephants. I have confronted this guy 4 times and all he can say is Iam sorry...... Omg just be normal......... I dont feel that I should have to move at all and I dont get why this guy feels that he can do anything he wants.

even in a quiet apartments you hear noises if u live below kids. ask to be moved to an area with no kids. unless is overly loud then your out of luck

yes kids will be kids , but you do not run or junp or play ball in a apartment building its not a house if there active put them insome type of afterschool activity like girls and boys club, karate etc.. use up there time thats why some places dont like renting when you have kids and that is there rights, sorry

I have been there, only I was the one with the six kids and two adults. Depending on the structure of the place, it can get very noisy, but kids are kids. Our neighbors heard our kids but knew at 9pm it would be over as that is their bed time. I felt it was our responsibility to try to keep the noise level to a minimum. We would tell them only to rough house outside and to walk gently through the apartment. Whatever you do, don't confront the parents in an attacking manner, that will only make things worse. I would look for another place to live.
