thaw out the mouse in warm water. then offer it to the snake using feeding thongs. if it does not take the food, jiggle it around a bit.

Why is your snake even eating live mice? Most pet snakes are brought up eating F/T. Try using fresh killed mice, they will still be warm so the snake should take these easily. Then gradually switch fresh killed to F/T.

What i suggest is that you thaw out the mouse as usual and make sure its thawed in warm/hot water for about 20 minutes, a good way to check this is to get the mouse out of the water and feel it to the touch, if its cold or very cool, then it needs longer to thaw out, then see if it can be bent forward ok, if it can then its ready, get a pair of long tongs and dangle the mouse by the tail and wiggle it, to trick the snake into thinking its alive, as it strikes keep wiggling and you will get the constriction hopefully, then stop once it has wrapped around the thawed out animal, and i would also suggest you buy a separate box to feed the snake in, so it doesn't get confused between your hand and a mouse when you go to handle it. hope this helps

If you choose to use frozen, make sure that you put the frozen mouse in hot water(in a bag, they normally come in little bags) for at leats 10 minutes. I never use frozen because it killed my friend's corn snake and both of my fire skinks but thats just how i feel about them. Live mice can be killed at most places when you buy them if you dont want to feed live. And if you're comfortable enough( this isn't for the faint of heart), you can knock the mouse out yourself but I dont really recomend this because it's inhumane for the mouse. At least if it's live then it's exactly how nature intended it to be. Hope that I was a help.

No dont bang a live mouse on the ground! Just feed it frozen pinks (baby mice) its more better for your snake and the mice.

live mice should never be offered to pet snakes. the easiest way ive found to deal with a live mouse is to drop it in a plastic grocery bag and then bang it on the ground. mouse dies painlessly and instantly. for frozen mice first thaw them (the plastic bag in hot water is the best way). if the snake is slow to accept it try dipping the mouse in chicken stock. works every time.
