i cant download itunes i have tried loads of times. I tried finding "run as administrator" but it didn't come up as an option. im on a laptop.

Is this on a PC? First thing to assume is that the setup file corrupted on download, so try getting it again. Make sure you download it direct from Apple's site. Failing that, wheat system are you running? If it's Vista, try right clicking the download and selecting "Run as Administrator". It's a cheap trick, but tends to work pretty well. Let me know how you get on. If neither of those work, there's a more serious problem with your setup to look into. D@VJ
