Basically, there are three main rules; 1) When she looks at you, either bow or courtsy. 2) Do not speak to her unless she speaks to you first. 3) Do not touch herat all, unless she goes to shake your hand, etc.

And you are supposed to pronounce 'Maam' as 'Mam'- not 'Maarrm' as some posh English people do (according to the scriptwriters of The Queen starring Helen Mirren.) Never ask her to give you five or attempt to do the touch. Never try to touch The Queen. Treat her with the respect a lady who has been flawlessly representing the UK for over half a century deserves, and you won't go far wrong

Why would you want to?

Shaking of hand is definately out. You can attemt to curtsey if you're a chick but it's fine to just bow slightly. Refer to her as "your magesty" when first greeting her and then as "maam" thereafter. Speak when spoken to, don't swear and don't bore the old girl.
