Put 4 or 5 fresh mint leaves in a glass tumbler, repeatedly tap them against the side of the tumbler with the edge of a teaspoon until there are 10 or so "bruises" on each leaf. Pour in 1 to 2 shots of rum ( I like mine on the strong end), 1 tablespoon of lime juice, 1 cup of water and 2 heaping teaspoons of sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved, fill tumbler with ice & serve. If you want a no sugar or less sticky version, substitute 2 packets of the blue packet sweetenerfor sugar.
