Just hook up the Desulfator to the battery and charge it every now and then. The desulfator shatters the build-up of sulfur crystals on the battery plates. This build-up of crystals also known as sulfation is one of the main causes for battery deterioration. If you do it right, you will have a 'brand new' battery to use when you need to change the battery. But if you use a desulfator for the battery in your car, it may be a long time before you actually need to do so.
