How Soon After An Order Can A Court Make A Tenant Vacate?

What is the time frame that a court can order a tenant with children to vacate the premises?

As a landlord I have trouble believing this story. Have you been avoiding your landlord? You can't expect your landlord to have trouble making his bills because you are having trouble with yours

Question. Shortly after I moved into my apartment I got laid off from my job. My lanlord was willing to work with me after I filed for my unemployment. We made scheduled payment arrangements and I followed them to the best of my ability, fortunately I was able to get a job, which was only part-time until something full time came about. So that changed the payment schedule but I have continue to pay my rent. Now I'm transitioning to a new job that would secure my rent. Right now I'm behind $600 on december and january. It was possible to pay $600 @ the end of this month and in feburary payment what I owe to be currant with my income tax. Unfortunately that's not something he's willing to do. My lease is up in the end of march, he wants to file the notice and says the judge will only give me two weeks to move and I will have to pay court fees and all of feburary, janurary. What are my options? I don't have all of it right now but I will in the beginning of feburary and I don't need this on my record. Can you help me? I live in Illinois.

check with your local court. if no kids i'ts a 30 notice to quit. but with kids you can basically write your own ticket if you plea to the judge.
