well for starters, you dont wanna wear a lot of eye makeup becuz since your eyes are probably already small, even a large amount of eyeliner, mascara or even mascara[gasp] can close up your eyes! Just be natural! i think for asian eyesyou should use a light pink for the base then other pastel such as purples and pinks and blues to go on top just above the roots of the lashes and use a darker colour at the outer corner , i think this is very sucsessful!

just use liquid eyeliner. and keep it natural

i agree with what you say that ant hardlty any tips out there for asian eye makeups but from what i know wearing fake eye lashes and light colour eyeshadows does help to make the eyes look bigger. wearing a dark colour in the socket and a medium colour on the lids and a light colour under the brows makes the eyes more noticeblebut please do remeber to make sure your colours contrast ok

Agree with the first comment. It's a matter of choice but most Asian women in Asia aren't into the "Westernized" eyeshadow look, even if they've gotten their eyes surgically altered to get the double eyelid. I like to wear eyeliner close to my lashline & fill in so the eyelashes look fuller & not wear eyeliner on the bottom for most day looks. I've tried the smoky eye look with the contouring, etc. and it does create a nice nighttime look for going out. Saw the how to create brown smoky eye and do not recommend it. Looked unnatural; unblended; color tones were wrong for Asian skin. I was surprised she won $500 for that video--sorry.

It's quite a dramatic look but the "fake eyelid" look popular with Jrock cosplay and Japanese fashions might work if you use more subtle tones.
