My boyfriend just broke up with me a few weeks ago. BUt the problem is I was falling more in love with him while he was falling out of love. Even though he seems to be talking with other girls, I can't bring myself to do the same. I'm not ready. Everyone takes their own time to get over someone they love. I think the best thing for anyone to do is to find the people that mean the most to you and busy yourself until you except the fake that what happened happened. It was fate and as soon as you realize it that it's just a part of your life that had to happen, you will be able to move on. What happens in the future depends on your willingness to let go of the past. who knows maybe things will happen again in the future between you and this person, but for now its best just to accept what happened and let the road of life lead you where it may. If you shared great times together which you do, as well as bad and have genuine feelings for them, then you cant just forget them as they were an important phase of your life. Sometimes its hard not to compare when you have someone else but that dosent mean the last one was better. We all have different qualities good and bad but are sometimes just not compatible for one reason or another. It was just a part of your life that was meant to be at that time and we learn something from each one that helps make the next relationship better as you become more selective as you learn from your mistakes. You must start going out, being with mates and do all the things you couldnt do while you were in a relationship. When we are hooked up with someone we tend to forget how to have fun and leave our mates behind not realising we may need them again if the partnership breaks down. Next time you get someone keep a certain few days for friends as they are who will still be there if/when your partner is no longer around. Set yourself a goal, travel the world etc, you are now single and can do anything.
