Pc Reboots Itself

Window XP Intel pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz ATI Radeon x600 physical memory 1023 MB. While playing any video games,Pc stops and reboots itself, after 20-30 min. I have no viruses, adware, spyware.Norton protection. Pc says Event log error 10 redbook Help + support centre says - This drive has not been shown to support digital audio playback. Replace optical drive.- Why does it play for 20-30 min then ? Do I need new optical drive or graphics card ? Thank you for your help.

First thing I'd check is that there's plenty of air getting into the PC -- if not it'll over heat and shut down. That said, that'll generally cause a 5-10 min period where it won't reboot, not a reset. This could be caused by any number of things. Make sure all your drivers are bang up to date. I'd highly recommend taking it to a professional who'll be able to fix it all up nice. Dan @ VJ
