its not wierd to have a crush on a guy if you are one dude you should do whatever you think is right. i am a christian girl ( im not lesbian) but i beleive that god made everyone differently and you should be happy the way you are! good luck.

You may want to read a book that helped me out. Its called "Stranger at the Gate" by Mel White. Its an autobiography. Mel White is a gay Christian and he tells about his struggles and how he realized he wasn't sinning. I am a Christian and I realized I was in love with my best friend when I found out she was bi. I was worried that I could never go to Heaven if I was bi or lesbian. I got advice from people at church, my friends, and blogs on the internet. I finally decided that God made me attracted to girls as a "gift". There are a LOT of Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual people out there who think God hate them and they are doomed to go to Hell because they like the same sex. With my "gift" I can show people that its okay to be G/L/B. God loves you just the same. And think of it this way...animals are even gay sometimes! I own a chicken that's a lesbian and a dog that's bisexual. If it was such a huge sin then why would God allow his animals to be this way? In all of the Bible passages where it talks about homosexuals it refers to the lust as being a sin. It doesn't refer to the love as being a sin.

Hi am Dan I am a very happy Gay disabled person I am also a christian I think you can stop these feelings of being active to the same sex its your its in your makeup of your from the time you where born its there you try and force these feelings out but they won't go as much as one try's to ignore it will make u very unhappy so unhappy it might cause you to feel very down and have acute depression I beleave if god set the bible in stone then why are there so many religions out there that follow the bible in stone or nipuliate it in way that it ether they don't want to follow certain parts of the bible or nipulate it in a way that it causes hate and distruction if being gay is such a bad thing why did it they kill all gay people from hundreds of yrs ago then? to kill the culture the way of life and the feeling true love of someone, that is on one of the biggest sins is lying to god and ultamatelly lying to yourself too. I had the same anguish as you years ago. Dont ingnore your feelings and follow your heart then when you do that you will be a happier person don't worry about the church parishoners or individuals, if they truly respect you and they support you and are genuine you might be supprised in more ways than one but if its a very strict church then I think its time to move to a modern church where equity and sexuality are respected at all times of the people and should the door to the church with open arms. But you can be happy and gay also not telling them they clearlly haven't caught on yet clearly. But as long as you are honest with yourself and god that is all that matters I don't think god has such a hunch on it as stated in the bibIe don't forget the scriptures that were written by man and stories of the bible were ether told by the apossoles or the aposoles family's after 70yrs after christs death I look into my sexuality carefully when I went t to Emperhisis which is in Turkey a beautiful place its where John the Baptist took Mary Maddeline Jesus's mother to die and John the Baptist is intered in a castle in a middle of a fort in the castle. I went down the street of emperhsis I went into what I was told that was a brothel at the time with the sign Brothel outside on the floor in stone I went into these rooms they well perserved walls of the Brothel no roof of course! but there were beautiful carved walls on there we loads of Roman soldiers clearly making love together also woman of the brothel entertaining them by them conudleing with each other I was told this was courent practice at the time of Christ it was also type of worshiping the sex god at the time which is a little man with a big genital area it was clear to me it was ok to love a man as long as you don't disrapect others. I have never told anyone how I found peace with god before this at all I was happy to share it with you. My heart goes out to you. But, stay strong Jesus WAS clear about loving but, healthy and moral love. Just because I have a desire does not mean I am ok to act on it. If it is ok! Then what do you say to the man who LOVES little boys or little girls! Its still LOVE BUT ITS WRONG! I believe Gods does forgive and he loves you. But we can can not justify what we KNOW and FEEL to be wrong

I think that anyone who tells you that God will condemn you for loving someone, no matter who that is, is a hateful shrew who needs to read a book of the bible other than Leviticus, like, perhaps, the bits about Jesus. If Jesus were around today, I would bet my life that he would be in the AIDS clinics and queer crisis centers, among other places, giving love and healing, not vitriol and self-righteousness.

Jesus always said that He loves EVERYBODY, no matter who they are and although I am not very religious, I do believe that. I think that you can be gay and attracted to men and still have a healthy relationship with God.

Dear friend..I keep asking my self that same question every day repeatedly ..Why am I attracted to good looking men, why cant I just live a normal life as many do. I am jewish and I coursed the heavens for bringing me to this world with these kinds of feelings. But Its comforting to know that I am not the only one. The heavens chose this for all races and for a reason. Who and why do we feel attracted to , is an Enigma in its self. And Only G-D is the one who gave us (The sense of SIGHT")and feelings to live our lives as the way we live it. The eyes are the windows to the soul. So dear friend live life the way you see it fit, and don't let anyone convince you other wise. You choose your own destiny, I am still in the closet and if i have to deprive myself from enjoying having lust with men and happy gayo time. But this is the life that I chose to live I am clean, healthy, and a male to my female. Notice even heterosexuals have their kinds of secrets and probably even worse then being gay. Use an ocean as an example to your life.

Hi I am not a christian, although I follow a spiritual path. I can only speak on how I understand things to be, from my own teachings and view point, which is both similer and different to christianity. How I see things is that one may ask one self is keeping the truth about your sexualily secret and denied being true to you, is it nessesary and is it kind also to you. When you are true to yourself, you are then also doing the best for all the people around you. As for saying being gay is wrong and god does not like it I do not agree with, due to the fundimental beleif that you yourself are a part of god, and therefore the statement that god does not like it makes no sense as you yourself appears to like and want to be gay. Ok, I'm a Christian and I fell in lov with a girl (I'm a girl :P) It took me about a year with prayer and what not to realize it isn't wrong to love someone. It's wrong to lie about it and go behind peoples backs. He loves you so much. DOn't lead a double life, you will never be happy. <3
