There are rules for both the customer and the therapist. As a customer please arrive 15 minutes before your appt. so you can change into a robe (if you are in a spa) shower, and relax for a few minutes. It is completely up to you if you prefer to leave your underwear on or off. The therapist will always ask you about your tension areas so let her / him know about any physical issues you may have - also any recent surgeries. They will leave the room for you to disrobe and get on the table under the sheets. Only the area the therapist is working on will be exposed .This is your time and your treatment. Please speak up if you prefer more or less pressure. Massage is wonderful - if you have never tried it - find a licensed therapist and enjoy!

Depends where you go. Some therapists are also ostheopaths and it is then basically a no-no. A massage therapist with a real diploma will have his/her own rules. ask first. If nude is okay a real massage therapist will leave the room for you to get ready, you put the blanket over yourself. the blanket will always cover part of your buttocks and always the genital area. p.s. shower first
