wrong again, i agree that parkour is about efficiency but what if a freerunner honed his skills to such an extent that he can flip over obstacles efficently instead of vaulting over them? then it still is parkour cuz it is efficient movement

no one has a clue n here, This is the difference between Parkour and Free Run Parkour and Free run is totally different. Parkour, being the most efficient way to avoid an obsticle and free run being the efficient way to become more techinal with movement. If for example you were being chased by for example the police, 'You would use movement used from Parkour as it is quicker and less technical so you have a greater chance of escaping by swift, basic movements. Free Running is a almost the same, except tucks and flips, gaps and buildings are involved in your path. But still if you were to be chased on a roof top tht would still be classed as arkour as yur escaping from A to B. Both Parkour and Free Run are not classed as a sport.

"Parkour is supposed to be about efficiency. You know, not wasting energy by doing backflips. Whereas freerunning incorporates aesthetics into it."-I said that. I too believe that Parkour and Freerunning are the same. I believe that there is nothing wrong in doing flips and tricks like that. I just said what most people think is the difference between Parkour and Freerunning. And by the way, people have diverse opinions on this matter- so much so that Freerunniing is actually now a separate discipline
