heres what i do when i get to know a boy when u have nothing to talk about have a laugh and try this you should ask eachother questions and u have to answer them truthfully you can ask them about themselves like what they like what they hate what they are scared of me and my bf did it before we ended up going out and i knows alot about him try it its really fun you can even ask some embarrassing questions and have a laugh together then you 2 will feel more confident

You should relax and just be yourself. Try not to just talk about yourself, show an interest in the other person - ask them about their interests, hobbies, what their job is/what they study, family, pets... anything! Remember that everyone is selfish and that their favorite topic of conversation is themselves. Just ask them one question after another about themselves. Pre plan before the first date the basic generic questions but also just ask another question that piggy backs off their previous answers. Be genuinely interested in their responses and if somethings they say connect with something you are interested in or know about let them know so.
