there are obviously problems in your relationship than run much deeper, if you have both had affairs. Maybe you should look at why you both had affairs in the first place.

I hate these user-to-user problem discussion forums. This is like asking your neighbor to do your taxes or take out your appendix. The answers are completely unqualified. My response is no more informed than these, but I hate to see this sit here in this state... so consider at least this... is it the fact that it was oral sex not regular sex that bothered you, or the fact that it was in your home, or the fact that it was an infidelity of any kind? I would assume that it would be -- or should be -- the last in that list, most of all. And then the question about his unwillingness for sexual intimacy, too. The extra compounding factor... you have also had an affair. And now he's had one. What a mess. It sounds like you need to deal with the affair and the lack of any kind of intimacy first. Make sure you've asked for and earned your forgiveness for your affair. Talk it out. Then do the same with his infidelity. It was wrong on both your parts and you both need to get that into the open. You need to move past that, with a lot of communication about why you think it happened and why you're each to blame for taking part in the affairs. Your husband, for instance, might not like giving oral sex. But the point is, he did it. With someone other than you. And it was wrong to betray your relationship. Likewise, you did the same 4 years ago and it was wrong. Once you've faced that, then you can talk about the lack of intimacy in your marriage in general, and the lack of certain sexually pleasing behaviors in specific. Solve the general intimacy first.
