Gluten Free Bread Recipe

Pippa Kendrick shows you how to make gluten free bread made with chickpeas, which is also vegan and yeast free.

INGREDIENTS
250g Gram flour
350g Doves Farm gluten free plain flour
1 tbsp Ground flaxseed
2 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
½ tsp Sea salt flakes
435ml Water
1 tsp Cider vinegar

STEP 1: Make The Dough
Preheat the oven to 200c and generously grease your loaf tin. Place all of the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl and whisk together until combined. Pour over the water and cider vinegar and mix together with a wooden spoon until incorporated and starting to pull together, you will end up with a large ball of sticky dough.

STEP 2: Bake The Bread
Spoon the dough into the loaf tin and level the top with the back of a spoon. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes until lightly risen and golden brown. Remove from the tin and leave to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
