Looking for DIY bridal jewellery on a budget? Then Hannah Read-Baldrey is here to help. Here she shows you how to make your very own silver chain drop earrings, perfect wedding jewellery gifts for either the bride or bridesmaids.
YOU WILL NEED:
Round Nosed Pliers
Needle Pint Pliers
50 cm Fine Silver Chain
3mm Jump Rings
STEP 1: CUT YOUR WIRE
Using the wire cutters, cut 2 pieces of chain 7cm long, 2 pieces 8cm long and 2 pieces 9cm long.
STEP 2: ATTACH THE PENDANTS
Lay one piece of chain of each length out and choose a pendant to go on the end of each one. Open up the jump rings using the pliers and attach a pendant to the end on each piece of chain, then close up the jump rings.
STEP 3: ATTACH THE CHAINS TO THE EARRING HOOP
Open up the ring on the earring hoop, then attach each chain in and close it up again using the pliers.
STEP 4: MAKE THE SECOND EARRING
Make The second earring in the same way as the first, and you’re done!
