Age And Health After 35

Sinjin Smith (Volleyball Player) gives expert video advice on: How does age affect health after 35?; Is there a way to reverse the signs of aging after 35?; How do genetics influence the aging process? and more...

How does age affect health after 35?

Its obvious that your age affects your health. When you're out of shape and you eat the wrong way it exacerbates the aging process. You can grow old and be healthy or you can let yourself go and not take care of yourself and grow old and be unhealthy and out of shape and not feeling good. There's no reason for that, if you take care of yourself, you exercise, if you eat well you can be very active and feel good going into your older years.

Is there a way to slow down the aging process after 35?

We can slow down the aging process if we take care of ourselves. If we eat properly and we exercise. If we don't, we will age very quickly, just like the people we see around us, very fat and out of shape. You can tell they don't look healthy. If you take care of yourself, we can slow down that process. We don't ever have to get fat. We can always stay active, as long as we do the right things along the way.

Why are Americans over 35 overweight?

Americans are overweight for many different reasons, poor eating habits, the parents of children not teaching them the correct ways to eat, maybe the parents don't know the correct ways to eat, the types of food that are available to everybody today that weren't available many years ago, all the fast foods, the empty calories that are there and available to us so easily available, readily available. It's something that has evolved over the years and it's gotten worse and worse, although I think our society is starting to look at things a little bit differently today and they're starting to go, to get to the point where they're saying okay, it's gone too far, slow down, let's take a look at the diet and the types of foods that people are eating and let's start educating people. Teach the parents, teach the kids how to eat the right way.
