Breaking up can be one of the most painful experiences in life but it can also be a springboard to learning about yourself in ways you may never have before. Try to focus after the breakup on improving yourself rather than dwelling on your ex. It all comes back to you. If you are happy then others will be around you as well. Read about being codependant. Perhaps I should say ...about not being so codependant. Learn that we each must be whole individuals and that a relationship does not define or complete you. Hopefully a new relationship will have a better chance with both parties keeping it very clear that the relationship is an exstension of both parties.
