Why is Britney Spears a celebutante?
Britney Spears was consider a talent until she married Kevin Federline and that whole downfall started happening around 2004. Now because she's only famous for the press she gets, and she's not selling what she wants, and she's not doing really anything, she is only famous for her publicity coverage and that's why she's a celebutante. Yeah, when you have no talent to back up your celebrity, you're a celebutante. When you're famous for your mistakes you're a celebutante. When you're famous for your sex videos, and for your appearances at night clubs, and last time you were drunk and peed on sunset avenue, you're a celebutante. If you're famous because you've been carted out of your house and taken to the mental ward, you're a celebutante. If you're famous because you lost your kids, you're a celebutante. Oh yeah, I forgot. What are you just going to keep going? She had kids? Yeah, Britney has kids. I'm not sure she knows, but she does.
Why is Britney Spears so irresistible to the media?
Britney Spears is so irresistible because she is a car-crash, like a huge train-wreck. She's fabulous, she's glamorous, she's a mess, she's an alcoholic, she's a drug addict, and she got kids. She's a soap opera, she's a reality show, she's a pop singer, she's an actress, and she's everything. And it's fascinating to watch her rise to celebrity and huge, huge fame and her fall to hot sloppy mess. The most fascinating thing about Britney is that she doesn't know that she's spiraling out of control and thinks that was the interesting about her. In Britney's mind she thinks she's selling records, she's making almost million dollars a month. What's wrong? We are all voyeurs. Why are this pill wrong? One pill make you scrawl. What's wrong with the kids with Kevin? She hasn't got it. She's lost and that was the fascinating about it.
What do you think is behind Britney's breakdown?
I think Britney's downfall is due to overwhelming amounts of fame coming too fast. I think she lost a sense of reality. You have so many yes-people. You have people telling you "You're fabulous, this is great. Wear that. You look great. Who cares if you're drunk? You're a young girl." She needs better people by her side, and now she's with her family there's hope for her. Thank God she has a family that cares about her. A dad that cares about her. Well, Lyn cares too; she's just not a great mom. She's a cool mom. She's a cool mom, yes; Lyn's a cool mom like Dan Deloni has a cool mom. That's a problem; all these celebutantes have cools moms. When what you need is a Jamie Spears, Britney's father, to come in and be like "No! You're out of control. I saw your vagina on the internet and so did the neighbors. Get your clothes on. Get your kids back and let's get back to work because I need your millions of dollars. Yes. Daddy needs a new corvette, so get back in order because I need you to make money and produce!" But the reality is he cares about her, he loves her, and he wants her back.
What could Brit do to make a comeback?
You saw her have it before, so you're watching because you want her to bring it again. Yes. She needs to come back with spirituality. She'll go through this messiness, lose her kids, but she needs to come back stonger, more spiritual, more evolved and more mature and learn from this; and we'll all eat her up again and we'll all love her again. We give people second chances- Madonna, Erotica, the whole sex thing. She was a freak and she came back spiritual. And she will always say she was crazy. She will always say she went through a crazy period. She'll write a memroir. Totally, write a memroir, hello Rosie O'Donnell. When you're famous, you can make huge mistakes and be a drug addict and lose your kids and fall down on Sunset... And then you can come back and it's all okay because fame makes misbehavior okay.
