Cargo pants are a casual pant with big pockets on the side, generally khaki or brown and sometimes drawstring.

Khakis are a tan, brown, or beige pant almost like a trouser with a flat front or a pleated front for older gentlemen. They can often be found at prep schools or the yacht club and have great pockets and sort of a wide leg at the bottom.

Capri pants are a flared pant that cuts mid-calf, that my mother cannot stop wearing. Women everywhere love capris whereas they just make you wider. They add weight to any look. They cut your leg in half, therefore creating a silhouette that's stumpy.
