The international line is probably an inch or two behind that and the pro line is about another 4...5 inches further than those two lines. So that's a significant amount of space that you have to really work in order to hit that shot on a consistent basis. If you hit either of those three shots, depending on if you are playing international ball, college ball or pro-ball that's a three pointer, those are three points that you will get.
Where is the 'top of the key' on a basketball court?
The top of the key in basketball is above the free throw line, about six inches above the free throw line, and it meets with the college three point line, straight on to the basket.
