How much does it cost to get rid of a spirit?
The cost of exorcism, of clearing land of a spirit or spirits, is a daily rate plus travelling expenses. Exorcism is charged per session, so the rate for the day is applicable to clearing the land of one or more spirits.
Is performing an exorcism dangerous to someone who's possessed?
Performing an exorcism isn't dangerous to somebody who's possessed. Once the spirit is removed, by channelling energy through them, the possessed person may feel a bit washed out for a few days, but then gradually begin to feel better as their energy changes and settle down. Some people find an immediate relief, may feel a bit tired afterwards and need to take it easy for a couple of days.
What happens to someone when they're possessed?
When a person is possessed, there are varying degrees of possession. With what's most commonly thought of with possession, when someone is fully taken over 24/7, those type of individuals are more likely to be in mental institutions. There are different degrees of partial possession, where a spirit becomes attached and it can influence the person so that their personality is quite split between the person and the spirit. Again, those people usually suffer mental afflictions and can lead normal lives, but they're also found in mental institutions. The most common form of possession is where there is a spirit latched on, which affects the person in various ways, depending on the person's will and energetic make-up. Possession can affect the person's health by causing ill health. That's the most common form of possession.
What does it feel like to be possessed?
Depending on the person, possession can have a wide variety of symptoms. For example, they may feel like they're trapped or there's somebody else in their body. A possessed person may feel fractious, or they may have physical symptoms like pain or discomfort, or a wide range of diseases which they may not attribute to spirit attachment. They may actually feel that they're always being watched or they may feel frightened. Possession can cause a wide variety of symptoms, really.
Can I perform an exorcism on someone myself?
I wouldn't advise anybody who was untrained or without psychic ability to perform an exorcism on anybody, because the danger is that the spirit might attach to them.
