Is it a good idea to bring flowers to a date?

Whether to bring flowers to dates depends on what you think about the date; if you want to play it cool, you might not want to bring flowers because it's old fashioned. But if you think that girl is into being pampered, you might want to take flowers on the date. I can imagine so many Hollywood girls who would just swoon over beautiful arrangements. It's up to you.

What kind of flowers should I bring on a date?

The classical notion of bringing flowers to an event is sort of a European thing and they would bring a small bouquet that is hand tied. You'd think of an old elderly Frenchman bringing a sweet bouquet of flowers to his sweetheart. That is a really kind gesture.

Should I bring my date a corsage?

You should never bring your date a corsage unless they think it's ironic or it's prom. Or it's Grandma on Mothers' Day or something. Crazy.

Is it appropriate for a woman to give a man a boutonnier?

I don't think men really want to wear flowers, honestly. It's a rare man that will want to put a flower on. I made a really cool boutonnière for my ex-boyfriend once and he was so upset that he had to put it on his lapel. He was grossed out, he didn't want to deal with it, he thought it was stupid. So don't do it!
