What are the most effective treatments for verrucas?

Verrucas can be treated either with topical applications, which will usually act as a sort of chemical burn to the area. And by applying it on a daily basis it will gradually burn layers of skin. And therefore, you regularly have to treat it by debriding with an Emory board; just removing the top layer of dead cells and just continuing to apply it. And eventually, with a lot of patience and persistence, the verruca can disappear. If these don't work, then we need to use other types of treatments such as freezing treatments or burning treatments. And that is effectively the same but with a more aggressive agent such as liquid nitrogen that will freeze the verruca and kill a certain layer of cells. And it may need to be repeated two or three times.

What is club foot and can it be cured?

Clubfoot is a congenital deformity of the foot which involves a flexion of the foot downwards and inwards, meaning that your toes are pointing down and in. This is usually as a result of a shortening of the Achilles tendon but can be associated with a number of other congenital deformities within the foot. It can be treated simply sometimes by correcting the position and putting it in a form of plaster to hold it in an appropriate position. Be it plaster or brace. Sometimes it needs more aggressive treatment such as certain operations to the Achilles tendon that will help lengthen the tendon and therefore, be able to bring the foot back into adequate flexion. And depending on the other more complex deformities, they may need more aggressive surgery.
