Getting Rid Of Ingrown Hairs
Sue Ismiel (Executive Chair of the LifeSource Group) gives expert video advice on: How can I get rid of ingrown hairs?; Can waxing or gelling encourage ingrown hairs? and more...
What are 'ingrown hairs'?
Ingrown hair problems can happen with any hair removal method. With waxing, for instance, when you remove the hair by the roots, and the hair tries to grow back, it actually becomes weaker. What happens is it grows beneath the skin because it doesn't have the strength to poke through the skin.
Can waxing or gelling encourage ingrown hairs?
Waxing or gelling does not eliminate ingrown hair problems. It could even encourage it more, and the reason being is the type of skin that the hair is trying to grow through. Some skins are thicker than others, so the hair finds it difficult to poke through that type of skin, and so, what it does, is it finds a new way underneath the skin and creates that ingrown hair and infection. For that, you really need help. You need products that eliminate this ingrown hair problem, and these products are available everywhere. Just look for them.
