How much does a gun safe cost?

A gun safe that can be bolted to the floor or a piece of furniture could be even under $100. A vault kind of safe might be $500 to $1,000.

What is the best place for my gun safe?

Best place for a gun safe is where it can't be easily taken. Sometimes safes are actually stolen by thieves who find out what wall a safe is on, crash into the house, break the wall, take the safe. So mine's in the basement, where nobody's going to do that.

Should I put my gun under my bed?

Putting a gun under a bed is okay if you're going to take it out the next morning. But, I don't think I'd want to leave it there, because that's just too inviting for a little kid to get a hold of it.
