What are the effects of the Columbine shootings?

The Columbine shooting has contributed to the idea that somehow guns should be kept off of campuses. It seems that the message hasn't gotten through that a "do not take guns beyond this point" sign is not going to be observed by somebody's who's intent on kidnap, murder, or violating the law in some other way. So that ban on guns doesn't work any better than it does say for the whole city of Washington.

What are the effects of the Virginia Tech shootings?

The Virginia Tech shooting has lead to a renewal of the effort to pass gun control legislation and that has taken us away from the very obvious fact that a gun control law failed and it's that failed gun control law that we should be getting rid of. Not piling on more gun control that will not be obeyed by other future mass murders and other criminals.

How have the Columbine and Virginia Tech shootings affected gun laws?

We have essentially, to this point, been able to not only staunch the passage of the additional gun laws, by in large, but in many of the states we've actually been able to make it easier for people to defend themselves with fire arms, even in since 1999 in Columbine.

Do you think easy access to guns contributed to the Columbine and Virgina Tech shootings?

The real problem with killers is the tier killers. All we have to understand is that the criminal thinks in a very unique fashion and it's not something that related to mental insanity almost no criminal is mentally insane just like no people are not in normally insane. The fact is criminal are pedicures they look up other people as prey they look other people as suckers and those who keep the law are jerks and there the once who going to take there want one by one and they don't technically think about the consequences and that's why being able to shoot the spot is so helpful because that's the one thing that seems to get though their hard hearts as they might suffer and a place for genera wrestler not technically worried about it and watch them they say.

What is GOA's response to campus shootings?

GOA is working with those students who are pushing concealed carry of firearms on college campuses. We think that's the way to go. We need to get rid of the gun ban which has only empowered criminals.
