What's so special about going out in Hollywood?

Going out in L.A. or Hollywood is so special because you have a lot of red carpet events. You see a lot of lights, amazing looking people all dressed up, and you have these great venues that are all decked out in different themes. You never know what you are going to see when you walk inside as far as the décor and atmosphere, because everyone is trying to top everyone else as far as ideas and schematics. I am always wowed by what these interior decorators and art designers do with a venue. They really transform the place and it is just exciting to see what ideas people come up with next. People in L.A. are so creative. They come up with these amazing themes and concepts that it really blows you away. When you step into a place, it is always exciting to see famous people that are well known, just amazingly beautiful people and the paparazzi. Especially when you are not from around here, all of those things that you see in the movies, that's always fun. If you live here it's different. It is just run-of-the-mill. Those kinds of events happen all of the time, but if you are not from L.A. and you watch Entourage and you really want to know what it is like out in L.A., it is all those things. It's exciting if you have never walked a red carpet, if you have never seen aerialists or Cirque Du Soleil at an event it is exciting if it is your first time, it is what sets L.A. apart from any other city. You can just expect the unexpected because you never know who you are going to run into, and you never know what you are going to experience.

What is it like inside a Los Angeles hot spot or event?

For example at one opening party that I went to in Los Angeles, in one room it was a Moroccan theme. And you had belly dancers dancing. In the next room it was kind of like a sports theme and you had girls on rollerskates serving drinks. In another room you had a burlesque show and there were burlesque dancers dancing scantily clad on stage. In another room it was all one color and you had painted girls, they're naked and just painted the color of the room. There's just so many creative amazing ideas here that people have done. That's what makes it so fun to go out, because you never know what you're going to expect, or what people are going to think of next.

What is the 'Sunset Strip'?

The Sunset Strip is a very famous boulevard that technically runs from Sunset and Doheny to Sunset and Crescent Heights. It's considered the West Hollywood portion only. It has a lot of landmarks and famous venues that have been around since the 30's, 40's, 50's to today that have a lot of history in them. For example, the Whiskey-A-Go-Go and the Rainbow Room have a lot of really rich history, particularly in the rock and roll area. If those walls could talk, whoa!

What are the coolest nightspots in Hollywood?

Right now, some good venues to go to for a variety of people would probably be Area, Madew, Winston's, Hype, Teddy's, and the Roosevelt Hotel.
