I think my child's teacher is picking on them, what should I do?

If you think your child's teacher is picking on them, you must take this seriously and you must find out exactly what's going on. You need to talk to everybody concerned. If you find on close reexamination that there is other information that your child hasn't shared with you and it is not as clear cut as them just being picked on, then obviously that's a matter you have got to follow up on. If you continue to think they are being picked on, then you have to involve somebody else who's a bit more dispassionate, a bit more removed to help you mediate and resolve the problem.
