When a young woman notices you at a wedding reception, and you walk over and talk with her, the number one thing she is worried about is are you a dirty old man trying to cop a feel. So first you have to be safe, and you do that by keeping physical distance from her, not getting too close, keeping the leer out of your eyes, and being casual. Then you have to talk about something interesting like nice wedding, god I wish they would play more 80's music. Safe, interesting, and then attractive. She has to feel safe and she has to be interested and then she can be attracted to you when there is a major age difference.
