What else can I do to avoid relapsing?
When you're trying to quit smoking and become smoke free, it's really important to identify those moments in the day or the week where it's possible that you'll be tempted to have a cigarette. This could be being out with friends, a difficult time during the day, or if you're having a bad day at work. All of these things may cause you as a smoker trying to quit and become smoke free to actually lapse and have a cigarette. However, it's really important that if you do smoke, rather than seeing this as a complete failure, to actually say, "no, I've smoked, that's okay. I'm now going to requit again." This will help you stay smoke free.
