The best thing you can do for your eyes is wear UV blocking sunglasses when you are out of doors. Basically all sunglasses nowadays are very good UV blockers even the cheap ones in the drug store. There is a little sticker that says meets an NC standard for UV blocking and any sunglasses that meet that standard will protect your eyes radically. It turns out there is no advantage of buying very expensive sun glasses in terms of their protection. Very expensive sun glasses may look better on you, and they may have crystal clear lenses which help you see a little bit clearer but in terms of UV protecting they are almost all made equal.
