You filed the tax return. You've got the refund coming back. How quickly you are expecting the refund depends on the way you filed it. Say it should have been here but it hasn't arrived. What can you do? There is a toll- free number that you can call. You can call the IRS using a toll free number and put in some information about yourself and your tax return and they will tell you by computer voice when your refund was mailed or if there is a problem. If there is a problem, they will give you another phone number to call. I believe you can also go online to the IRS Web page, click on 'check my refund' and again give them some details about yourself and your tax return and they will pull up the information and tell you whether your refund is on its way or being held up for some reason.
