How do I choose a healthy plant for my aquarium?

When you're choosing a plant for your aquarium, it's pretty similar to choosing a house or any other type of plant. You're looking for little or no dead leaves. You're looking for nothing drooping over. You want everything to be full and lush and with its proper color. Typically it's going to be green, but sometimes red. But you want the color that it's supposed to be, and you certainly want the plant to be very vibrant. You don't want to see any dead leaves. You don't want to see any rot towards the base or towards the roots. And you don't want any dripping leaves either.
