I think it's important to interview several florists for your wedding. I think it's also super important to have a good understanding and good relationship with that person. I've met with brides I don't click with and I just know they're not going to hire me and I think that's good, because I don't really want to do what they want me to do. It's just important to have a good relationship with your florist. It's really important to find somebody who you relate to, and you understand their sensibility, and don't just base their interpretation of what you want on their reputation. They may have an amazing reputation, but it may not be anything close to what you were visualizing, and they may be talking you into something; that happens all the time when a really intense florist will be say, "This is what you want, this is what you're getting." I don't think that's right; they need to be listening to you, because the wedding is your day.
