How can I clean out my closet?

I clean out my closet by starting with organization. I make sure that all my hangers are the same, I have no wire hangers. I make sure that the items are stored with like colors and pieces, my skirts with my skirts, my t-shirts with my t-shirts, and that kind of thing. When I'm cleaning it out, I put three bags out and I generally take out what I'm sending to Goodwill, what I'll be keeping in the back of my closet or in storage, and what I'm keeping. When I have that back, of what I'm still keeping, I generally press or clean those things and put them back in the closet. Organization is key.
