How To Cope With Bad Reviews As An Author

Russell Celyn Jones (Published writer. Professor of Creative Writing and Director of the MA Programme at Birkbeck College (University of London).) gives expert video advice on: How do you cope with bad reviews?

How do you cope with bad reviews?

Coping with bad reviews is part of the process, and I think there are reviews that take issue with what you've done in an intelligent, intellectual way which is fair game but there are other reviews which are just badly written and that's an unpleasant experience usually and slightly annoying. I do not look at the newspapers for about 3 weeks when the book is out.
