How can I cover freckles?

Covering freckles with makeup is quite difficult without looking like you're wearing a huge make-up mask. But if you do want to cover your freckles, then you almost have to buy a foundation or concealer that covers birthmarks, tattoos, scars, or anything like that, because the pigment within freckles is actually quite hard to cover just using sheer foundation or concealer makeup. In my experience, freckles are never covered using those two products. What makeup I do find that works in covering freckles is a heavy-duty foundation. It is almost a medical one you would give to somebody that has had burns or wants to cover thread veins, or something like that.
