I have a sore throat. How do I cure it?
As far a sore throats are concerned, a lot of them will be viral infections. Viral infections will cure themselves. However, a sore throat will always feel worse if your throat is dry. A lot of people say, “Well, when I wake up in the morning, my throat felt awful and as I get through the day it gets better.” The only reason for that is because it dries up through the night. Drinking water and keeping yourself well hydrated is very important when treating a sore throat. In particular, just have a glass of water on your beside table at night to keep yourself hydrated through the night, because you will feel much better for it when you wake up in the morning. Certainly viral infections may well be helped with vitamin supplements, in particular Vitamin C. The most natural source of Vitamin C is fresh orange juice. Why not treat yourself to some fresh orange juice every morning or 2 or 3 times a day when you're running a viral illness. It may well help. In the same way as with other infections, don't over do it when you have a sore throat. Get as much rest as your body tells you you need, and if things go on for too long, you should see somebody about it.
